The Kansas Children’s Service League (KCSL) offers Head Start and Early Head Start services in Kingman and surrounding areas.  Enrollment is currently open, and will stay open until all available spots are filled.

KCSL Head Start and Early Head Start are early childhood programs that serve qualifying families at absolutely NO COST.  The programs are designed for pregnant mothers, and children ages 0-5, and focus on children’s health, nutrition, education and social development.  Head Start helps children get a healthy start to learning.

“It is our goal to provide quality Head Start services for Kingman County families and prepare children for Kindergarten and life,” said Micha Ingle, Head Start Home Visitor. “By enrolling your children in Head Start or Early Head Start, you can give them the healthy start they need to be successful in life and school.”

In addition to Kingman, the other counties KCSL provides Head Start services are Finney, Grant, Haskell, Kearney, Kingman, Pratt, Scott, Seward, Stafford, Stanton, Stevens and Wichita. For more information about KCSL’s programs and services, visit www.kcsl.org.
